For a long time, these notes were only personal observations.
Photos saved quietly on my phone.
Small thoughts written after cafés, walks or conversations.
I was not planning to build anything from them.
But over time, the same feeling kept returning.
There are so many meaningful things here that remain strangely difficult to find unless someone personally introduces you.
A retreat hidden in the mountains.
An artist working quietly from a small village.
A beautiful gathering that disappears after one temporary message online.
At the same time, the atmosphere of the Alpujarra itself feels increasingly rare.
The slowness.
The openness.
The connection to nature and daily rhythms.
The feeling of hearing bees in the flowers while drinking coffee outside in the morning.
The sound of people harvesting olives together before winter arrives.
The way neighbours still help each other naturally here.
Maybe places like this deserve to leave some kind of trace online too.
Not as aggressive platforms competing for attention.
But as calmer spaces reflecting the rhythm of the life already happening here.
Maybe that is what Alpujarra Heart is slowly becoming.
